South Island: Queenstown and Glenorchy

1-3: New Zealand's playground: Queenstown
4: Enjoying cocktails in the ice bar
5-9: The beautiful Glenorchy

Queenstown is an amazing place to visit, if you are ever in New Zealand. The town is full of amazing cafes, restaurants and bars (including an ice bar!), and around Queenstown you can sky dive, bungy jump, ride the luge, paraglide, and downhill mountain bike. Its not so much fun if you're trying to save your pennys though, so we didn't spend too much time there. We camped out at Glenorchy, a pretty little place at the tip of Lake Wakatipu, nestled amongst the snow-capped mountains. Its was so beautiful!!

Its a popular place for overseas tourists. Have you ever been there?

  2. It is my DREAM to go to New Zealand. Seriously. Top of my bucket list. I have a friend from high school who has been living there for the past year and I just die every time I see her pictures. Sigh.. someday.
