Introducing Smudge..

Well we finally managed to find ourselves a  beautiful kitty! We drove half way across the country (not far, in New Zealand) and adopted our new fur baby from a shelter.

And we named him Smudge.

The hubby has bonded with dear Smudgie-pie surprising well, given that he is more of a dog person!

Gorgeous Smudge has fitted into our lives just perfectly, and now I have someone to talk to when hubby isn't home.

I love Fall

Although it is Spring here in New Zealand, Spring here really means we get all four seasons in one day, so what better time to re-visit my favourite things from Fall!

It's hard to pick one thing, but I love wearing boots, and the feeling on the sun's warmth on a nice crisp morning in Autumn.

Happy November

Happy First of November everyone!

For us here in New Zealand, the warmer weather has finally arrived! November means picnics at the river, fireworks, and time to dust off the barbie!  Unfortunately, it could also mean wind and rain, and cold nights by the fire.  You never can be sure in New Zealand!  

So many of you North American bloggers have mentioned how excited you are about Fall, and how good it is to get some colder weather.  This is something I just can't understand! I may have to visit one day and find out for myself.

Study Study Study

Lately I have been sitting at my 'desk' all day studying for my upcoming exams. And by 'desk' I mean kitchen table. See, the thing is, we have a small two bedroom cottage. When I say two bedroom, there is the room we sleep in, and then there is what we call the 'baby's room', which is actually basically a storage cupboard. I actually hope we will be in a bigger place by the time we decide to have a baby. 

So while I sit at the kitchen table, I long to have an office space so that I can study in the same room as I keep all my stationary and books. At the moment, I have to pack everything up and shove it into the 'baby's room' before dinner, then get it all out again later! 

Naturally, this leads me well away from study, and onto the worldwide web where I start dreaming of having a beautiful office!!

Don't you love this last one with the gorgeous fluffy chair? I might be keen to study a bit more if I had an office like this!
