How cool is it that there are so many cat-related clothes, shoes and even hats out there at the moment? Speaking of cats, these shoes are no longer wearable because Smudge attacked them! He's ruined my best two pairs of shoes now, but he's such a sweetie I can't stay angry with him for long.

Down by the river

What I'm wearing: Dress and belt - Dotti, denim jacket - thrifted, bag - gift from Thailand, Boots - Number One Shoes

I love this time of year, when the days are getting longer and its slowly getting warm enough for bare legs. Its been a while since I've shared an outfit of mine, but I'm hoping now there are more sunshine hours in the day I will be able to fit in a few more. 

Is anyone else finding it crazy how fast this year is going? September is already flying by, and the last few months of the year always seem to go by even quicker! Things get pretty crazy in the lead-up to Christmas. I have actually bought one present already, which is surprising as I don't think I've ever started Christmas shopping earlier than December before! 

Looks like it will be another quite weekend for us, catching up on things we didn't get done during the week. Do you have any special plans?

Date Night at the Park

What I'm wearing: Skirt, belt and sunglasses from Glassons (Yep, most days I'm a walking advertisement for that store), top from Temt, sandals from Wild Pair.

These photos were taken a while ago now, back when the days were longer and bare legs were a thing.  The hubby and I shared a pizza in the park and then took a walk around the rose garden.  These days we're struggling to find interesting things to do together as it gets dark not long after hubby gets home from walk and its too cold outside to be enjoyable.  

Anyone have any ideas?

Afternoon in Napier

What I'm wearing: Dress by Temt, Sandals by Wild Pair, Necklace by Vintage Rose Boutique, Sunglasses by Glassons.

Last weekend we had a lovely afternoon away in Napier.  We had a picnic lunch in a rose garden, had a look around the shops and finished off with fish and chips and a walk along the beach.

On the road again

My all-time favourite piece of clothing is a floaty, floral print dress.  I have been living in such dresses all summer. 

The vintage satchel is my favourite bag.  It is genuine leather and New Zealand made.  I picked it up one day when I was tagging along to an auction with my dad.  I basically found it in amongst different pieces of machinery and tools - definitely my luckiest find so far! 

 

I found the denim shirt in the boys section of a small thrift store on our trip down South.  I love it, its nice to throw it on when I need an extra layer but don't want to wear a cardi.

By the Lake

On our recent trip around the South Island, we drove through the beautiful roads of Central Otago and camped at this lovely spot by the lake.  

This is one of my favourite dresses.  I hardly ever wore this green cardi before I got the dress, but since wearing them together for the first time its become my go-to outfit!
